Mike Tyson delivered a speech honoring the late singer and actor Sammy Davis Jr., famous for his work in traditional pop. Tyson started off with, “Sammy Davis Jr., tribute and honoring the one heavy weight I would dance to in the ring with. Sammy, you are truly an undefeated champion”.

Murphy who was trying to get the best out of Tyson went on to imitate him. Murphy continued, “The producers of the show were hoping you would be able to do a little bit more Mike Tysonism”. As the comedian imitated the boxer, Tyson quickly closed Murphy’s mouth and pulled him away from the microphone. 

Fans’ reactions to the video from the Oscars, mocking the two go viral.
