When someone talks about golf, Tiger Woods comes to mind. Woods has achieved a lot in his career and he is still a fan favorite, even at the age of 45. Recently, the golfing legend went through a pretty bad accident.

Going by the severity of the car crash, it’s a miracle that Woods survived it. It was only yesterday that former NBA superstar Dwyane Wade was playing golf with Woods; no one could have guessed something like this would happen the very next day!

The whole world was shocked when this news came out, and many fans wished for his speedy recovery. Along with the fans, several big NBA entities sent their wishes to Woods via Twitter.

It’s a well-known fact that Warriors’ Steph Curry is a huge fan of playing golf during his free time. So it was only natural that Curry was asked about his thoughts on this horrible news in the post-game conference of tonight’s game. Curry said:

“Thankfully, he didn’t have any life-threatening injuries, but it’s just unfortunate and sad knowing all he’s been through these last couple years. Thankfully, he’s OK from what I hear. I don’t know too many details, but you just wish for a speedy recovery, because at this point, I’m a huge golf fan, you know that, and love watching him play and being on the tour and competing.”

While Curry said he wants Woods to get well soon and start playing golf again, he is aware that golf is not the biggest concern for Tiger Woods. Curry added, “At this point, it’s not about golf, it’s about his quality of life and being there for his kids. That’s the most important thing right now. Hopefully, he makes a full recovery to be there for them. He’s got a lot of life to live.”
