NBA legend Dwyane Wade is one of the best guards to play in the league. Over the course of his long and illustrious career, he has won three NBA titles with the Miami Heat. The Heat franchise began in the 1988-89 season as an expansion team. And they suffered heavily ever since their start. They struggled to get out of mediocrity and turn themselves into a winning organization. In the late 90s, the Heat started to find some success with the appointment of legendary head coach Pat Riley as the team president and head coach.

However, they could not move past the Eastern Conference Finals. Afterwards, they missed the playoffs in 2002 and 2003. The 2003 NBA draft was one of the best in their history for the franchise. The Heat had the fifth pick, and they selected Dwyane Wade. And he gave them instant success.

His displays on the hardwood had given him so many mind-blowing memories over the years. However, there is this one memory that few could claim to have shared. That is playing pick-up basketball with the President of the country. That is a huge flex indeed, even for an NBA legend like Wade who almost single-handedly helped the Heat win their first-ever championship.

Dwyane Wade talks about playing basketball with the former President

In ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Dwyane Wade made a guest appearance recently. In the episode, rapper Jack Harlow shared the seat with host Jimmy Fallon. During the show, Fallon asked Wade about his experiences playing basketball with celebrities. Hence, he showed a picture of the three-time champion with former President Barack Obama and asked about that experience.

Wade admitted that Obama was a good basketball player. “He’s actually, he’s not bad. He’s a lefty, as smooth as he is, that’s how smooth his game is,” he said.

Then Jack Harlow wanted to know about the game of former POTUS Donald Trump. And the Heat legend gave a hilarious reply. Wade then proceeded to explain how things went while playing with Obama in the White House. He then disclosed NBA veteran Joakim Noah fouled the former President during the game. Hearing this, Harlow joked, “So you would f***ing crush Biden!”?

There were some “Oohs” and “Aahs” in the crowd and Fallon had to intervene to lighten the mood. Meanwhile, both Wade and Harlow could barely stop laughing.

Fallon then asked Wade to rate Harlow’s performance in the 2022 All-Star Celebrity game. And the future Hall of Famer hilariously stated that the highlights of Harlow look “terrible.”
