Turns out the four-time NBA Champion is also a fan of the thrill and ferociousness of the game of baseball as fans saw him asking for a friend on his social media handle.

Shaquille O’Neal is quite the definition of an evergreen man. He’s one of the most versatile sporting personalities. Apart from being a successful NBA player, he’s also known for his impeccable business acumen. Recently it came to be known that he’s also a fan of the game of baseball.

Shaq asks a serious question

Shaquille O’Neal a long time back was invited to a game of the Chicago White Sox. They gave him the honor of throwing a first pitch by Michael Jordan’s $1.7 billion team. Shaq threw the pitch wider than he was supposed to, but no one seemed to mind, as no one had the heart to tell the gentle giant about the matter.

Seems like Shaquille O’Neal met with his baseball craze. He uploaded a picture on his social media channel where he’s standing on the baseball pitch.

He captioned the pitch, “How fast is my FastBall? #mlb #mlballstargame @marlins” O’Neal was curious to know how his ball pitching skills are. Baseball pitchers are notorious to be super fast and it’ll be interesting to see what Shaq’s pitch would look like.

Shaq’s video throwing out a ceremonial first pitch from 5 years ago also resurfaced on the internet looking at his latest adventures. Donning the Miami, 32 jersey, Shaq is seen pitching a strike in the clip.

But this wasn’t the first time Shaq got involved in MLB. Shaquille O’Neal and a certain baseball legend both bought a stake in an e-sports company a few years back. It was interesting to see two major personalities of different sports coming together in the world of business.

Shaq and Baseball legend join hands

Alex Rodriguez, upon retiring from the world of baseball, invested heavily in an esports company. He bought equity in NRG eSports. It was reported that Shaq and Jimmy Collins were already part of the deal. The board meeting of the company will certainly be an interesting affair, as it would comprise some of the biggest sporting personalities in the world. Both the legends are Hall of Famers in their respective sports and have great things in their sports career.
