Anthony Edwards’ claim about Jordan was made after he refused to be mentioned along with LeBron and Kobe Bryant. Edwards had a historically significant postseason. However, he is not one to sit back and celebrate. Even at the early age of 22, the young player has already seen success on a scale that few can equal. On the other hand, he is aware that if he hasn’t won anything yet, his individual numbers and honors are nothing.

He said, “It’s just stats.”

Edwards is of the opinion that he cannot be mentioned in a conversation about LeBron and Kobe as he is not on the same level as the legends. They both have won championships whereas Edwards hadn’t. He said, “I mean numbers wise yeah I have 30-point games but I haven’t done anything. I haven’t made it out the first round.”

While he appreciates the thought, he believes that he still has work to do. And with a talent like his, he will surely go a long way!
