The Boston Celtics have been receiving a lot of praise, considering their performance this season. The Celtics have a deep team, with talented players available in every department. The championship favorites were recently met by former NBA veterans of the Boston Celtics, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. The ‘Truth’, who recently posted a picture of him with the ‘Big Ticket’ and three other Celtics players, has caught the attention of social media. 

NBA fans went off on the Celtics legend for his caption in his recent post. The post also got the attention of Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal and J.R. Smith. Fans’ reactions to Paul Pierce’s post are going viral all over the internet.

Pierce shared a picture on his Instagram, along with Celtics stars Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart yesterday. He added, “Who beating this 5?”, in the captions. The picture caught the attention of Shaq, which he storied on his Instagram recently. Amid fans ripping the Celtics legend for his captions, former Cleveland Cavaliers star JR Smith replied, “Lol a lot of teams”, mocking Pierce.

Fans believe there are various other teams and combinations of players that can easily defeat the above five. Though fans seemed to troll the former Celtics star, it was no doubt he was a legendary player during his time. The Boston team consisting of KG, Pierce, and Ray Allen was feared back then, considering their incredible offensive talent.

Boston Celtics continue to dominate the Eastern Conference 

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are leading the Celtics from the front, averaging 27 and 31 points respectively. Jayson Tatum currently stands in third place on the MVP ladder, right under Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic. Both stars have received a lot of support from the team. Al Horford, Marcus Smart, Robert Williams III and Malcolm Brogdon are having a great season with the Celtics.
