Thanks to the insane popularity of the game and the league, NBA players are no less than celebrities. Needless to say, they are paid like celebrities as well. Stars like LeBron James and Stephen Curry earn insane amounts of money from salaries and endorsements.
However, there is another star who earns a lot more than LeBron and Steph. It is none other than Portland Trailblazers star Damian Lillard. The former Rookie of the Year earned a whopping $37,000 per minute in the NBA.

Despite trying his best for the team, he could not drag them to a playoff spot single-handedly. However, this did not mean that the paycheque stopped flowing.
Dame earned a whopping sum of money and also recently signed a contract extension. Roughly a month ago, the Trailblazers and Lillard’s camp agreed to a 2-year contract extension worth around $122 million.

Lillard will reportedly earn about $59 million during the 2025-26 season and the sum will rise to $63 million during 2026-27. This means that the 6-time All-Star is not likely to leave the team anytime soon. He has played his 10 seasons in the league with the Portland Trailblazers despite teams like the Los Angeles Lakers looking to sign him.
Thanks to his massive contract and other earnings from endorsements, he has a huge net worth of around $100 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Interestingly enough, thanks to the massive contract, he will earn around $450 million in salaries alone by the time his current deal is over.
