The Brooklyn Nets are currently one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. After a shaky start, it seems the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving-led team has finally hit the ground running. With Durant currently out for a month with an injury, the team needs depth in that position. The absence of a big man to replace KD was more than evident in the team’s loss against the Boston Celtics on the 13th of January.

With the team looking to solve their problems, the Nets might be a serious contender for the NBA title this season. Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors will certainly be stressed if the Nets solve their problems. Recently, he made some claims about the Nets which are starting to come true.

Draymond Green disclosed his true feelings about the Nets recently

Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green recently sat down to talk about a host of topics which ranged from Jordan Poole, the Warriors dynasty, and more.

When asked about the team which will give the Warriors a run for their money this season, Draymond Green had little doubt. Green almost instantly said, “The team that will give the Warriors the most problems this season is the Brooklyn Nets.”

The Nets took on the Warriors for the first time this season on the 22nd of December. It resulted in a 123-113 loss for the Warriors with Kevin Durant putting on a show against his former team. Therefore, a bolstered Brooklyn Nets squad could make Green and the Dubs’ lives difficult this season.
