The Los Angeles Lakers got back to winning ways after a comeback against the Detroit Pistons. However, the LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart altercation mainly came up from the game. With both the players having some hand in the entire incident, the league made a call for the two players. And the decision regarding LeBron has left fans angry.

During a loose ball, LeBron accidentally struck Stewart on the face in the third quarter. While he didn’t try to escalate the situation from there, it left Stewart boiling. He charged at the ‘King’ multiple times and even challenged the security and on-court staff. With such a big altercation, it isn’t a surprise that the league stepped in to investigate.

This decision is big for the Lakers who only just got their win. The Knicks have been a great team since the last season, with Julius Randle leading the way. Hence, the loss of LeBron at the Mecca of basketball will hit the big time. The purple and gold will once again need to gather all their strength in hopes of triumph over the Knicks.

For the suspension, while it may have been a mistake, the league has to hand out some punishment for it. James has never been an aggressive personality on the floor and it was only the second ejection of his entire career. Hence, the league may have given him a cut with the one-game suspension. But their actions do seem fair for the incident.
