In their latest bid, the franchise is on the verge of signing the experienced CJ McCollum from the Portland Trail Blazers. This will mean that the likes of Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram will have a potent backup. Speaking of Zion, the youngster has made a big splash in the collection world.

Since the 2020-21 season, 21-year-old Zion Williamson has been missing in action. Several analysts had raised questions over his future in the league. After all, he had put on some weight, and lost some of his forms. Yet, he was being compared to the likes of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal, which meant that he had the potential. In spite of his troubles on court, the starlet is still a popular figure going around.

Zion Williamson card gets sold for over $500K
Last Saturday, several collectible cards were up for grabs. In a massive acquisition, baseball star Jasson Dominguez’s card was bought at a gigantic amount of $474,000. The buyer, @shyne150, turned some heads with his massive bid for the youngster’s card. However, this wasn’t the biggest shocker. As The Action Network revealed, the same person was also the underbidder on Pelican’s powerhouse Zion Williamson’s card.

In a heated bidding, Zion’s card was eventually sold for a whopping $594,000. The gem of a forward averages close to 26 points in his career and is waiting to overcome his injury in order to return.
Meanwhile, @shyne150 revealed that he made a bid of $500,000 for Zion’s card, but couldn’t go higher than that when the bid exceeded his limit. Yet, it was a humongous value for the Pelicans star’s card.
Even when not in action, Zion is breaking new ground everyday. However, he will be hoping to justify his value where it matters the most. Is a revamped Williamson coming our way soon?
