22 Year Old Ja Morant Almost in Tears Holding Daughter in His Arms After Historic 52 Point Night

After his stellar performance with the team, the Memphis Grizzlies’ star, Ja Morant, joined Rob Fischer on Bally Sports Southeast. Between which he introduced his daughter as his motivation. As he reacted to his 52-point performance, which caused him to become the 4th youngest in NBA history to record two 45-point games in a row. Holding his daughter in his arms, the 22-year-old almost shed a tear. Not only was it a great moment for the team but also for the audience. 

Memphis’ Monday game against the San Antonio Spurs truly highlighted the new talent coming up in the NBA. A great performance by Memphis gave them the victory with a score of 118-105. During the game, Morant posterized 7-footer Jakob Poeltl and scored his career-high points.

The moment that made it epic was when he broke his own record in the regular-season game just two days after making it. During his outstanding performance against the Spurs, he scored 52 points on 22-of-30 shooting, helping Memphis to victory.

“Man, that’s what it’s all about. Those my dogs. We’ve battled each and every night since day one. We all got each other’s back. We all happy for each other’s success. That just shows you right there how they root me on and cheer me. I got close, and they told me, go get 50. And you could tell at the end they was looking for me.”

Then he introduced his daughter to everyone. He mentioned his motivation while talking about the game, saying, “This is my baby, my motivation right here”.
