Morant turned 23 on August 10th, and it seems his birthday did not go so well. The Grizzlies star took to Instagram and posted an update regarding how his birthday is going.

It seems the Memphis Grizzlies star takes the limelight wherever he goes. On his birthday, Ja Morant posted a video on his Instagram story which showed his car. The car had visible damage, and it seems someone has crashed it.

Morant wrote, “smh. Thought mfs make ya birthday good.” Now that’s one way to celebrate your 23rd birthday.

Despite being so young, Morant is already the leader of his team. Moreover, his athleticism and dunking ability is widely regarded by many to be the best in the league.

How good was Morant last season?

The Memphis Grizzlies had a phenomenal regular season as they finished 2nd in the Western Conference. Ja Morant played a huge role in his team having the second-best record during the 2021-22 season in the West.

He averaged 27.4 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.7 rebounds, and these performances and numbers earned him his first-ever All-Star selection. The Grizzlies faced the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs. They breezed past the Timberwolves winning 4-2.

However, their winning ways came to an end in the second round of the playoffs. The Grizzlies faced the eventual champions, Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry.
