24-Year-Old NBA Star, Who Signed a $133 Million Contract, Urged by Shaquille O’Neal to Build 100 Free Houses for His Native People

Millionaire, NBA champion, and an overall nice guy can describe Shaquille O’Neal. The 4 time NBA champion is known for his philanthropy and also for being one of the nicest celebrities out there.

Interestingly, talking on The Big Shaq Podcast, he urged an NBA star to follow his steps. O’Neal suggested DeAndre Ayton of the Phoenix Suns, to give back to society.

This came after the Suns re-signed Ayton to a multi-year contract after holding long negotiations. Although there were speculations regarding his future with the team, a 4-year $133 million deal held him down to the franchise.

Talking about Ayton’s situation, O’Neal stated that the contract should keep him happy despite not getting a max. Moreover, the Los Angeles Lakers legend touched upon how Ayton should help out his community with the huge sum of money he is receiving.

He said, “They said we are not gonna give you a max dollars, but they gave him something that should really keep him happy. He should go back to the Bahamas and build about a 100 houses in his community.

Shaq knows all about helping out society. He has multiple philanthropy ventures under his name and he is known for helping random strangers.

O’Neal said, “I’m just trying to make people smile, that’s all.
