The eye disease of Stephen Curry
When everything is going as well as it could for the superstar, lightning strike again. This time in the form of eye disease. Curry is one of the most efficient 3-pointer shooters if not the best. So, Curry, had himself checked for anything unusual. Turns out, he was having an eye disease. He was suffering from a rare condition known as Keratoconus. In this disease, the cornea thins over time and changes from its natural circular shape to one similar to a cone. And this resulted in blurry vision, which caused him to miss a lot of shots. Talking about this issue, Curry said, “It’s a tough situation every day waking up.”
