Shaquille O’Neal might have retired from the basketball court for a while now, but he is still very much active when it comes to his off-court ventures. O’Neal has arguably been just as successful outside the court, as he was as an NBA player. The $400-million-worth Shaq owns a series of restaurants, car washes, gyms, nightclubs, and more. But that’s not all that the Los Angeles Lakers legend is known for.

The Big Aristotle might have looked intimidating and fierce to his opponents on the court, but he is undoubtedly a big man with a soft heart. On several occasions, O’Neal has helped out complete strangers with small acts of kindness. Whether it is buying a laptop for them or paying for an engagement ring.

“A lot of people describe it as giving back. I describe it as doing what you’re supposed to do. You’re supposed to help those in need. If I’m somewhere and see somebody’s needing something, I’ll take care of it. I just always try to continue to do the right thing and just lead by example. I’m all about brightening up people’s day.” said Shaq to PEOPLE.

The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation announced a big artist lineup for The Event

The Shaq Foundation had previously arranged a charity concert, The Event in 2021, in partnership with Pepsi. The concert had a lineup of several big names of the music industry. Artists such as Imagine Dragons, Andra Day, Kelly Clarkson, Snoop Dog, and Justin Bieber helped make the concert a successful event.

And now The Event is back again in 2022. Shaquille O’Neal had earlier uploaded the poster with the name of the artists who would be performing at the concert.
