Until 2019, Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett was the highest earner in NBA history. He had earned over $334 million over 22 seasons. Garnett’s longevity and excellent negations skills helped him reach that number.

But since then, LeBron has put a vast distance between himself and Garnett.

LeBron James is set to make nearly $200 million more than his rivals

Since 2020, LeBron has been the highest earner ever in the NBA. He crossed Garnett when the second year of his Lakers contract kicked in. Since then, he has added to his illustrious wealth.

By 2020, LeBron became the highest earner ever with $346 Million. At the end of the next season, LeBron would earn himself a nice tidy sum of $432 million.
