The Chicago Bulls were arguably the most iconic team in the NBA. As it will take years for a team to surpass its legacy, they are still one of the most talked about teams in the NBA. The 2020 release of The Last Dance documentary featuring Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls has also increased interest. With stories ranging from MJ and Scottie Pippen’s feud to Rodman’s antics, some might have had enough. A former NBA champion reiterated the same feelings as he refused to go on podcasts for interviews.
MJ and Pippen’s former teammate, Ron Harper recently tweeted out his disinterest in being a part of youtube podcasts. When a fan asked if it was due to a particular reason, Harper decided to answer in his own style.

His Airness and the Bulls no. 33 recent resentments due to The Last Dance have made the news quite frequently. Scottie Pippen wasn’t happy about the content of the documentary and publicly expressed himself. While everyone wants a piece of the drama, there have been numerous instances where the former Bulls players were asked about it.
Ron Harper seems to be miles away from such controversies. His recent tweets implied how he’d rather talk about his life and career than others’.

Many former NBA players decided, and rightly so, to keep their lives private. MJ is a great example as there was hardly any sort of insight into his life before the documentary. Harper seems to be just one of them who’d rather talk about his five championship rings than others.

There has been a norm of squeezing out interesting tales about other NBA legends from their teammates. Harper sarcastically pointed it out by mentioning how his stories are better suited for his golf buddies.

Everyone does want to hear about Jordan, mostly because he has kept his private life close to his heart. The insight gives fans joy but Harper refused to be a tool for it.

It is well known that Bulls no. 33 was far from happy with The Last Dance. He felt his contract situation at the Bulls being revealed wasn’t fair and made him look “stupid”.

In 2020, former Bulls guard Craig Hodges also expressed his disappointment with the documentary. Hodges said that he didn’t feel nice about words like the “c***ine circus” being mentioned for the Bulls in the documentary.
