Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal was an elite dunker during his time in the league. Naturally, he was very popular. A player who is quickly gaining traction as the best dunker in the league is Ja Morant.

One of his recent dunks went viral on the internet with various NBA stars and other celebrities reacting to it. Me’arah O’Neal, the 16-year-old daughter of Shaq also joined the bandwagon.

Taking to Instagram, she posted a story with the Morant dunk clip. She was evidently very excited as she wrote, “Omggg!!!!”. O’Neal has the potential to be an elite dunker as well. She is currently 16 years old and already 6-foot-3 inches tall. Considering her genetics, she has the potential to grow taller which will give her an advantage while in the paint in her future games.

Thunderous Morant dunk inspires the team to victory

Ja Morant scored 23 points and had 10 assists against the Indiana Pacers to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 130-112 win. However, it is not his stats that made headlines around the world.

Morant had an electrifying dunk over Jalen Smith of the Pacers which sent the whole arena buzzing. When asked whether this was his best dunk ever or not, Morant replied, “Yeah, easy.” His claim was further supported by teammate Desmond Bane who asserted that this dunk deserves to be the dunk of the year.
