7 Ft Shaquille O’Neal Shares Rare Image of Himself Posing Alongside a Panda and Making It Look Tiny

Shaquille O’Neal is considered one of the most dominant big men to ever play the game of basketball. Standing at 7 ft 1 in, any human being would look tiny near the giant. Photos of Shaq with Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson and John Cena have made the rounds on social media. And they are prime examples of it.

But it doesn’t end with human beings, a photo of Shaq with an adorable panda is making the rounds on social media. Shaq himself has shared it as a story on Instagram. The panda looks tiny sitting on the lap of the Big Diesel. But the interesting thing is, it appears to be a full-grown one and not a cub.

Shaquille O’Neal’s dominance

The Orlando Magic drafted him as the first pick in the 1992 NBA draft. In his first season, Shaquille O’Neal won the Rookie of the Year award. 

Shaq took the Orlando Magic to the 1995 NBA Finals. While famously beating Michael Jordan and the Bulls in the Eastern Conference finals. Shaquille O’Neal was the scoring champion of the 1995 season.

A year later, he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. And the Lakers also managed to get Kobe Bryant from the draft. The duo of Shaquille O’Neal and the Lakers had a three-peat from 2000 to 2002.

Shaq was crowned the NBA MVP in 2000 and was also the scoring champion that year. He averaged 29.7 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game that season. He was the Finals MVP in all the three final wins from 2000 to 2002, such was his dominance.

Then in 2004, Shaquille O’Neal signed for the Miami Heat and won his 4th NBA Championship with the Heat in 2006. He then played for the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Boston Celtics for the next 5 years before retiring in 2011.

During his time in the NBA, he dominated everyone irrespective of their size. Especially during his prime years, he was a force to be reckoned with. And multiple basketball backboards were destroyed in the process. In 2017, the LA Lakers honored Shaquille O’Neal by revealing a statue of him at the then Staples Center.
