Luka Doncic wrapped up the game with 41 points, 12 assists, and 12 rebounds. This performance was notably a record-making one for Doncic. On the list of most 40-point games in the team’s history, Doncic now ranks second. He shares the spot with his old teammate and Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki. Doncic achieved this feat at the mere age of 23, leaving the NBA community gawking at his skills and performance levels in the NBA so far.
NBA community in awe of Luka Doncic
Luka Doncic is the leading scorer this season with an average of 33.1 points per game. With this stat and the 40-point game performance, Doncic is arguably the leading contender for the season MVP title. Fans seem to agree with this, with some having already declared him to be the MVP of the season. With that said, the NBA community labeled Doncic to be unstoppable.
However, what stood out to most was that Doncic has become a force of nature at the age of 23. One tweet said, “A 23-year-old doing this is crazy.”?Crazy and insane were the most reoccurring words on the Twitter feed. Fans were quick to point out that he has Dirk Nowitzki’s level after having spent only 4-5 years in the league. They also tweeted that they preferred Doncic over two-time MVP Stephen Curry.
