The play-in game between the Lakers and the Golden State Warriors lived up to the hype to say the least. In a battle which saw two of the biggest stars of the league in LeBron James and Steph Curry, the champions and the Warriors put on a show.

The game was a roller coaster ride, to say the least. After a dismal start by the Lakers and some brilliant defending by the Warriors, Curry and Co. took a resounding nine point lead in the first quarter leading the game 28-22.

The Dubs continued their dominance in the second quarter as they extended the lead to a whooping 13 points leading the game 55-42. But you can’t count out the champions and the Lakers rallied a superb comeback.

With the defense locked in and superstars Anthony Davis and LeBron James stepping up to the plate, the Lakers made a resounding comeback in the third quarter cutting down the deficit to 2 points only.

Ultimately, the Lakers completed their comeback in the fourth quarter. With momentum by their side, the champions, forced multiple Warriors’ turnovers and ultimately won the game 103-100.

Blazers’ CJ McCollum trolls LeBron James

The game wasn’t without controversies though. With the game only separated by a single point with 2:07 remaining on the clock, Bron drove to the basket. Going up for a monstrous dunk, LBJ was stopped by a hard foul by Draymond Green, who hit Bron’s face while attempting the block.

With his face covered and laying on the floor, LBJ understandably tried to make the most of the situation. While it did seem as a flagrant foul by Green, the Lakers were only given two free throws.
