NBA superstar Anthony Davis erupted for 37 points and 15 rebounds against the Oklahoma City Thunder as the Los Angeles Lakers took care of business at home winning the game 116-111 on Friday night. The Lakers have eight more games in the regular season and every game is crucial in their fight for a playoff spot. In the eight games, the Purple & Gold play against the Chicago Bulls twice, home and away next. Interestingly, former Laker Patrick Beverley is looking for some vengeance.

Beverley was traded to the Bulls just last month as the Lakers revamped their roster. The 2017 NBA Hustle award winner did not anticipate the move and even showed his excitement to play alongside former teammate D’Angelo Russell when he joined the Lakers. However, things didn’t turn out that way for Beverley as he was shipped off on trade deadline day and eventually found a way to his hometown, Chicago.
