Given his celebrity status, the Los Angeles Lakers legend has certainly had many renowned personalities as guests on his podcast. Adam Sandler, Shaq’s good buddy, decided to drop by on the most recent episode of his podcast.

Adam Sandler has been an admirer of the league and the sport in general for a long time. He has, in some ways, blended his profession with basketball, and his most recent film, “Hustle,” reflects his love for the sport.

Interestingly, LeBron James’ company, Springhill co-produced the movie. Sandler and James linked up at the film’s premiere in Los Angeles. They share a solid professional bond; however, Adam Sandler did not have a place for him on his NBA Mount Rushmore. In addition to omitting James from his list, he didn’t even have a place for Michael Jordan as well.

When it boils down to naming the greatest players of all time, everyone has a difference of opinion. However, finding neither James nor Jordan on just about any NBA Mount Rushmore is a rare occurrence. However, the well-known actor does not adhere to the standard.

He was initially asked to name his Mount Rushmore, but he was eventually requested to name a fifth player. He was originally reluctant. However, he quickly agreed to do it anyway.

“We got four but if I need a fifth I’m gonna go with…Bob McAdoo!”

Fair to say, Adam Sandler picked a strong group of ballers capable of giving your favorite player a run for their money. Any list of the greatest players to ever grace the hardwood, though, appears hollow without LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
