In an interview on Skip Intro podcast with Krista Smith she speaks about trauma and ways to deal with it. She rightly acknowledges and embraces all that’s wrong in her life, everything wrong inflicted on her by others. This way, she believes people can come to terms with trauma and start healing. In fact, she also believes in breaking “trauma bonds” and coming to terms with the hard-hitting realities of life.

On the podcast, she mentions, “I don’t think it’s possible to truly love yourself completely when you’re addicted to being chosen.” She says that as part of self-love and self-realization, one must not pay attention to what others think of them.

She said “I’m good in every hood, being exactly who the hell I am,” to emphasize the important life lesson she has learned over the years.
