Nonetheless, these defensive plays have resulted in scary injuries on the court as well. Similarly, New York Knicks star Julius Randle had a scary fall to the ground after a collision in mid-air against the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, after the frightening fall, fans raised their eyebrows in disbelief at the referee’s call.

Similar to the call today, several NBA stars and fans questioned the officials’ decision about the Draymond Green-Domantas Sabonis issue on Monday. Incidentally, the Tuesday night game between the Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers had a pause after Randle’s fall. The star looked in immense pain after the incident. However, the fans’ attention shifted to the officials after the debatable call.

Julius Randle shrieks in pain after the nasty fall

In the fourth quarter of the Tuesday night game, the Knicks were chasing a massive 21-point lead. That’s when Julius Randle attempted a dunk and ended up having a nasty fall to the ground after a collision with the Cavs’ Jarrett Allen in mid-air. Allen collided with Randle in an attempt to block the ball. After the fall, the Knicks star stayed on the ground and screamed in pain.

After the official review, the referees called a flagrant-1 on Allen. However, the hoops fans swarmed the social media comments sections to express their disappointment with the decision.
