The Golden State Warriors have the most continuity out of any team in the NBA. The core trio of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have been together for more than ten years. They have won four NBA Championships in eight years now. There is a brotherly bond between the three and they love each other and respect each other.

But there was a time when things could have gone south between Draymond and Steph. It all dates back to 2015 when Ayesha Curry started a Twitter thread where she said she would choose “classy over trendy” any day of the week.

Fans had a variety of reactions to these tweets, ranging from positive replies to extremely negative ones too. ??It was then brought back to the spotlight in 2020 by a Twitter handle that had a negative reaction to Ayesha’s tweet. What was surprising was that Warriors star Draymond Green then liked the tweet. Whether he liked the tweet by mistake or consciously, we will never know. But it’s safe to say that it hasn’t hampered Green and Curry’s friendship. You can see the tweet below.
