“Everyone’s into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters,” Ayesha Curry had tweeted. Soon after, the tweet sparked an online debate on beauty standards and clothing expectations for women. In other words, many users seemed to be displeased at Curry for perpetuating stereotypes about women’s clothing choices.

As a result, Curry had to call out the rude comments about her opinion, “Regardless of if you like my ‘style of clothes’ or not (which I don’t care) please do not tear women down and degrade them… Not cool peeps.”
