Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is quite the hip-hop aficionado. Like many other athletes in the league, Green follows the genre and its top artists very closely and has strong opinions of his own. In fact, he recently named his list of the greatest rappers of all-time. Controversial as it may sound, Green seemingly ignored several legends and named Lil Wayne as one of his top artists. Although Lil Wayne is a legend in his own right, a lot of people on the internet disagreed with Green.

One of them happened to be former Warriors player Festus Ifeanyi Ezeli. The Nigerian basketball star openly called out Green for his choice on social media which led to a brief back and forth between the two. Former Warriors star argues with Draymond Green over Hip-Hop

Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green might have just initiated a huge internet debate. During an interview, he was asked to name his all-time greatest hip-hop artists. Green named Lil Wayne in his top 3, alongside greats like Tupac Shakur.

Festus Ifeanyi Ezeli took to social media and openly called out his former teammate. He asserted that while Wayne might be the greatest artist of his generation, he is in no way the greatest artist ever. Moreover, Ezeli also said that Green might be taking Lil Wayne’s name because they know each other.

This came just hours after the former Warriors player had called soccer superstar Lionel Messi the greatest artist of all time.  The Paris Saint Germain superstar recently visited a Buenos Aires restaurant and was mobbed by thousands of fans wishing to catch a glimpse of the World Cup winner. According to Ezeli, this might be the reason why Messi is the greatest artist of all time.
