The Dubs star received severe backlash for the act, but Rudy Gobert’s comment really stung the Warriors star. In response to the Green incident, Gobert tweeted, “Insecurity is always loud.” However, Green had the last laugh as he took sweet revenge by tweeting the same line, “Insecurity is always loud,” after Sunday night’s altercation.

However, the 4x NBA Champion was quickly brought back down to earth as former Warriors star, Stephen Jackson, rubbished him on social media.

An Instagram page shared the tweets of Green and Gobert along with the brawl video. In response to the post, Jackson commented, “Both weak moves. Won’t punch the other team but you’ll punch ya teammates.” This comment caught Green’s attention.

Green responded, “relax bro.” However, the exchange didn’t end there, as Jackson reminded Green of an incident from the past. He wrote, “just like I told u when u had questions for me when u saw me. It wasn’t cool and I’ll never respect it.” There isn’t any clarity on what the former player referred to here.

After the practice session video went viral, Green took some time away from the Warriors camp. He also apologized for his mistake and said, “I failed as a leader.” Months after the incident, the duo is in a completely different space. They played an impactful role as the Warriors secured the 6th seed in Western Conference. Fans can expect more from the duo in the postseason.
