The star sensation of the Memphis Grizzlies has recently become embroiled in a social media storm. Icebox recently shared an Instagram post in collaboration with Morant showcasing his new custom-made shoes and also a symbolic pendant bearing Morant’s logo, both embellished with diamonds. While the shoes have undoubtedly caught the attention of many fans, some have not been as impressed. In fact, they have taken to social media to criticize Morant’s flashy new footwear.
While some fans simply considered the shoes to be a bit extravagant, others went as far as to make sarcastic comments about Morant himself, with one person even stating, “No one likes Ja anymore.” A few fans even called Morant’s diamond encrusted logo a knock-off of the Kobe Bryant logo.
