The Drew League has always been a center of attraction for NBA fans. As fans watch it game by game, the craze over this can be clearly seen on social media. And recently, a former Lakers star has joined an elite list of NBA stars who balled out at Drew League, joining the likes of LeBron James and Trae Young. 

The news was announced on social media by Isaiah Thomas. As a result, the reaction was filled with love and excitement. NBA teams are busy building up with their roasters this off-season with a number of events taking place to help players keep in shape and be ready for the new season.

In the Drew league, we’re seeing an incredible amount of popularity this year. Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant were among the greatest players to have once featured in the league before this. In contrast, fans recently got to see Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and Chicago Bulls’ DeMar DeRozan playing together in the league.

According to his performance last year, he scored 37 points, a game-high for him. The NBA player took a break from his analyst duties at NBATV to shoot a few shots in the Drew league. In sharing this news on Twitter, he mentioned: “Meet me at the @DrewLeague Saturday 145pm”

While the expectations were high from the free agent, he delivered a great performance. He scored 45 points, had two rebounds, and had five assists while making seven three-pointers.
