The Draymond Green Show is one of the best platforms for fans to get valuable insights on the games and the sport in general. The award-winning show is hosted by Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors. Green’s guests for the show often include stars from the sport of basketball. In a recent episode, Green invited a WNBA icon, who made some startling revelations and aspirations during the course of the sit down.

The two stars talked about LeBron James, and Kevin Durant, as well as the WNBA icon’s goal she wishes to achieve in the final years of her career. Candace Parker of the Las Vegas Aces also revealed that she would want to be the equivalent of a LA Lakers legend for the WNBA.

The 2x WNBA champion started by saying that Kevin Durant’s move to the Warriors back in 2016 is different that her going to the Aces. She said that KD went to the Warriors in search of championships whereas she is already a 2x WNBA champion. Notably, KD is also a 2x NBA champion and both his championship wins have been with the Warriors. Parker added that her goal is more like LeBron’s when he moved to the Lakers, as she is searching for more than just championships.

Talking about King James going to LA, she said that James was looking at the move from a business point of view as well. “He’s talking about wanting to be a billionaire,” Parker said as she explained her vision for her future. In the interview, the 7x WNBA All-Star spilled details on the mismanagement in the WNBA. Parker said that in her 16 years long career, she never had a locker with her name on it. She also pointed out that WNBA players find it difficult to practice late at night, as they don’t have a private practice facility.

Parker said on the show, “I wanna be a female Magic Johnson, I wanna be a businesswoman.” She added that she wants to take female sports and female athletes with her so that they get the deserved respect. Parker said that elevating women in sports is important and that they should also get to be respectable figures in different businesses as we have seen with the NBA stars.
