Nia Long and Ime Udoka’s current relationship status has been the subject of much discussion. At the beginning of this season, the Boston Celtics management got some serious news that forced them to take a few actions. The decision did not favor Long or Udoka, both Celtics staff members. Following the team’s policy, head coach Ime Udoka was suspended due to his relationship status with Long.

It was in 2010 that the couple first met, after which they began dating. They had a son together named Kez Sunday Udoka in 2011. Before this scandal happened, the couple had been together for 13 years. It appears that the couple split in December 2022, as reported in the media.

It has been a while since this incident, and the relationship status and future of the couple have been discussed a great deal. Even in The Drew Barrymore Show, she has talked about being single in this part of life and how she is ready to enter a relationship again. While there have been a lot of talks regarding her relationship recently, she has expressed few emotions.

A recent interview with Nia Long left her emotional

During an interview, Long shed tears as she explained the “devastating” period she went through with ex-fiancé Udoka. “I’ve had some pretty devastating moments in my life over the last couple of months,” she revealed on Yahoo! Entertainment.

It is noteworthy that this revelation comes four months after Udoka was suspended. Following the suspension, Udoka apologized publicly to the team. In addition, Long described how this decision by the team has affected his family, especially his 11-year-old son, Kez.

“I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public,” last December, she told The Hollywood Reporter.
