The 33-year-old cookbook author made waves after news hit about her jaw-dropping 35-pound weight loss. To discuss her incredible transformation, Rachel Ray got on Ayesha Curry as a guest on her show. While on the panel, the Sweet July entrepreneur spoke about her ’80-20′ lifestyle and taking things easy. But the most critical sacrifice she made in order to achieve that mentality was to let go of an inner competition she had with her husband, Steph.

Speaking on the Rachel Ray show, she said, “I was competing in my own weird, twisted way with my very athletic husband, [thinking] that I had to do all of the things that he was doing in order to find my balance and stay fit.”

As one can predict, the mother of three often lost these competitions with her NBA husband. Considering the four-time champion is one of the most active players on the court, her shot at matching his routine was always slim. Add on her plethora of responsibilities and it would only be a troublemaker.
