Naturally, he could not control his excitement like many others when Russ snatched the ball off Raptors’ Scottie Barnes and moved his way through to the three-point arc scoring a jumper tying the game 116-116. Drake’s reaction simply sums up the moment Russ gave us.

This was an important game from Russell Westbrook’s perspective and the Lakers. As the Lakers desperately needed a win in the bag. Subsequently, Russ needed to answer the recent unfair insults from the haters. Which he did, and the fans loved to see Russ playing the way we all often expect him to play and loved that they had another meme to have fun with.

The Lakers must use this win as the boost for the remaining season. As expected, LeBron James is in high spirits. He is close to being the 2nd most points scorer in NBA history, and he is highly motivated. Hopefully, this was the boost Russ needed to break out of the rut. Now, the Lakers need to capitalize on the momentum and surge towards a commanding end to the regular season.
