Westbrook was visibly not pleased, but he made sure not to allow the incident to distract him from the game, as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 133-129. Fans enjoyed witnessing the battle between the two giants Anthony Davis and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Furthermore, Khris Middleton made his 2022-2023 season debut after returning from an injury for the Bucks.
The Lakers’ upcoming trade plans for Russell Westbrook
The 15th of December is a date that the Lakers will be eagerly looking forward to. Currently, the team has 14 players on their roster, this is because on Wednesday they showed the exit door to Matt Ryan. It was shocking news for the fans as Ryan was one of the few sharpshooters on the roster, and shooting has arguably been a problem for the Lakers this season.

It is assumed that the Lakers dismissed Ryan in order to save tax and create a space in the roster for an upcoming trade. Ryan likely became a victim because he was the only one on the team with a non-guaranteed contract. Furthermore, the Lakers now have one empty spot in the team.
