The whole world is divided on the issue of WNBA star Brittney Griner. While some feel she should serve her time for breaking the laws, some are urging the Government to help her out. Recently, former NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal gave his thoughts.
O’Neal is not one to shy away from talking about issues surrounding the world of basketball and beyond it. Recently, he took to Instagram to showcase his thoughts regarding Griner.

Shaq shared a post on Instagram that compared the scenarios of two women convicted of drug charges in Russia. While Griner was sentenced to 9 years in prison, Audrey Lober was released after just over a month.
Lober was released by a Russian court in 2019 after roughly two months in jail. Officials arrested her for attempting to import marijuana purchased in the U.S. into Russia. (Source: cbsnews.com)

Tatum posted three sets of praying emojis on Twitter. A few months ago, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown sported “We are BG” T-Shirts during the NBA finals against the Golden State Warriors.
4 time NBA champion LeBron James also came out in support of Griner. However, his statements brought in a lot of slack and he issued a clarification soon after facing the backlash.
