Moreover, the series victory has rekindled the rivalry between Curry and LeBron James as the two will face off in the Conference Semis. Thousands of fans swarmed the comments sections, defending their idols. Moreover, several sections of the fans expressed their views with detailed analysis and stats.

While some of the fans considered the debate unnecessary, one loyal Magic Johnson fan said, “Ain’t no debate! Magic won the NCAA title and the very next year he won NBA Finals and Finals MVP. Then won 4 more NBA championships in 7-8 years. When was the last time that happened again? I’ll wait.”

After Public Admission of Being Wrong, Lakers Legend Magic Johnson Turns His Back on Stephen Curry and the Warriors

Despite the heated debate among the fans, the Lakers legend always regarded the Dubs superstar highly. During a recent podcast conversation with Shannon Sharpe, Johnson said, “I love Steph because he has changed the game in his way… I love him on the court but I love him off the court as well.” However, Johnson picked the wrong winner for Game 7 after the Warriors’ disappointing blow-out in Game 6.
