Shaquille O’Neal and many other stars in attendance were out of word after Mac McClung’s performance in the dunk contest. The Big Diesel, who shared his favorite moments from today’s night through Instagram, has caught the attention of the NBA buffs. 

Unable to digest that the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s son is as tall as him, fans’ reactions to his posts are going viral. Shareef O’Neal was one among the many athletes who were present to witness the All-Star events. 

Shaquille O’Neal’s son might cross 7 feet to overtake his dad 

Shareef O’Neal is currently playing in the NCAAM tournament for the LSU Tigers and is a few inches away from crossing his dad’s height. The 23-year-old forward is four inches short of overtaking his dad. Shareef plays as a forward for the Tigers. Shareef made a dashing entry with a green hoodie and cargo pants, contrasting with his formally dressed father.

Shaq on his Instagram also shared pictures of him holding the three-point contest trophy bagged by Damian Lillard. The Big Diesel posted another video to show off his stylish blazer and hat, which also went viral on social media. 

Fans were awestruck to see Shareef and his dad standing together. A fan commented, “You look like brothers,” pointing out the sudden growth of the former Lakers’ son. Another fan mentioned, “The boys catching you, Shaq.” Another fan mocked the powerhouse mentioning, “You shouldn’t go near the 3-point award”, mocking his shooting ability. Instagram users showed nothing but love towards the Big Diesel. Shaq has always been and continues to be a supportive father to his kids.

Mac McClung brought back life to the dunk contest this year, with four impressive dunks shocking the entire league. McClung showed off his unreal bounce to win the dunk contest. Shaq’s reaction, which he recorded on his camera, went viral on Instagram.
