After sticking by their side for two seasons of struggle, a good day finally came. And fan favorite Stephen Curry delivered one of the most iconic Finals shows in NBA history. Winning his first Finals MVP, he gave fans of the Bay Area a reason to celebrate once again. However, Curry’s heroics also gave rise to new fans. And one of them is part of one of the biggest boy bands, BTS.

Spearheading the era of K-pop, Suga is one of the stars of BTS. The 29-year-old is one of the group’s leading stars. Performing around the globe, Min Yoon-gi also brought forward his love for basketball. Notably, he is often seen wearing NBA jerseys while performing. Moreover, his name, Suga is derived from his favorite position on the hardwood, shooting guard. During an interview with Vogue, the BTS megastar named the Portland Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard as his favorites, coming majorly from his love for the underdogs.

However, he might have had a change of heart. Recently, Suga donned a custom Warriors jersey that caught everyone’s attention, including Stephen Curry. And just a day later, the two global icons came face to face. Embracing for a moment together, the all-time three-point leader of the NBA had a message for the singing sensation after their meeting.

The Golden State Warriors’ trip to Japan served as the perfect platform for Suga to meet up with the stars. The BTS singer turned up to their practice and met the entire roster. But the fan’s eyes went to his meeting with Stephen Curry. The Baby Faced Assassin gave fans a major clue just a day before meeting Min Yoon-gi. Likewise, when the moment came it was as perfect as they could imagine. The K-pop and Warriors team up broke the internet.

Curry walked away with a signed album of BTS’s ‘Proof‘, while Suga got his hands on the reigning Finals MVP’s jersey. Curry then took to Twitter to share his respect for the K-pop star. His eight-word message read, An honor meeting you SUGA!! Welcome to #DubNation”. Likewise, the crossover drove fans insane.

Bam Bam has already become a key member of the Warriors family. Notably, he is the “Global Ambassador of the Golden State Warriors” as he announced on his Instagram recently. In addition, Suga also played a big part in helping Andre Wiggins become an All-Star for the first time. Notably, he was one of his most vocal supporters. Likewise, his large K-pop following helped the Warriors forward rank fifth in votes and become a starter in Cleveland last season.
