The rumors surrounding Kevin Durant seem to have no end. The Slim Reaper has created a major scramble around the NBA this off-season as the former MVP has been the biggest talking point since requesting a trade However, all the drama is coming to settle.

And at the end of the tunnel could be a reunion with former teammate James Harden. Likewise, according to the reports, the Philadelphia 76ers are the most formidable threat to land Durant.

There is a history between Harden and KD. Notably, their partnership took birth in Oklahoma. Harden started his career as a 6th man on Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder team. However, after Harden’s trade, it became unlikely for them to share the court again.

After an initial off-season buzz, the Brooklyn Nets tried to make amends with their best player. Owner Joseph Tsai reportedly sat down with Durant. Their conversations began with an intention to convince the 12-time All-Star to stay.

But Durant gave out an ultimatum instead. A choice between the coaching staff or one of the biggest names in basketball. As this meeting was in session, one team was on hold.

The Sixers are undoubtedly desperate to win a championship. Likewise, they want to create an unstoppable dynasty. Along with Joel Embiid and Harden, Philly wants the Easy Money Sniper to get on board. And with Tsai siding with Steve Nash, KD could be taking a flight.

Philadelphia is already arguably one of the best teams in the league. Joel Embiid has become one of the most versatile big men. Deep in the waters of his prime, The Process is coming off winning the scoring title. Concerns rose around James Harden when he failed in the postseason.
