They were a pair of purple Freak 4 shoes by Nike worn by Giannis in the game. After receiving the shoes, the fan started freaking out in excitement, as other fans urged the center for an autograph.

Some NBA officials have dismissed Thanasis’ claim to be an NBA star and ascribed his fame to his brother Giannis Antetokounmpo. Even though the Antetokounmpo brothers have moulded their individual identities in basketball, claims of nepotism have been a lingering issue associated with them.
