Russell Westbrook recently took the crown of ‘Mr. Triple-Double’ as he surpassed Oscar Robertson. He has averaged 18+ triple-doubles in 4 of his last five seasons so far. Moreover, he has a natural ability to find his teammates and make plays for them.

Russell is probably one of the most unselfish guys in the league. He has sacrificed his personal gains for his team in order to win. The ‘Brodie’ has made a reputation as one of the best playmaking point guards in the league. Along with that, he has shown that he is no less efficient in putting the ball in the hoop.

The answer is uncertain as both LeBron James and Westbrook have been the primary playmakers throughout their careers. Naturally, they will command to have the ball at all times. Hence, it may be difficult for them to work together.

However, as both of them are great players who know how to play with other stars, the crucial element will be sacrifice. While Westbrook will have to sacrifice the volume of shots that he takes, LeBron will have to sacrifice the amount of time he has the ball in his hand.

With both players understanding that winning is the priority, these superstars are more than capable of making these sacrifices. Hence, they can surely co-exist, provided they agree to sacrifice parts of their game for the better of the team.
