The NBA has seen a select few players who have played for 20 years or more. And one of them is Miami Heat veteran Udonis Haslem, who recently announced that he will return for a 20th season. Haslem rarely plays for the Heat and is there for his support and leadership. But his decision to return has not gone down so well with the fans.

Haslem came into the league in 2003 when he signed with the Heat. He had gone undrafted in the 2002 NBA draft and had spent a year overseas. Haslem has won three NBA titles with the Heat and he has spent his entire career in Miami. He was a starter for more than a decade but as he got older; he lost his place in the rotation.

Fans are not happy with the Miami Heat veteran returning for a 20th season

However, fans were not happy to see Haslem returning to the team. They think that he is taking a spot on the bench and maybe keeping it from someone who needs it more. Here are some of the best reactions on NBA Twitter:

The Miami Heat are ready to run it back

And the Heat look set to run it back with the same squad, with the exception of P.J. Tucker, who is now headed to the Philadelphia 76ers. Tucker will arguably be a huge loss for them, but the Heat doesn’t seem to be done yet. They still have a few spots on the roster and, if rumors are to be believed, they might have something big in store.

The Miami Heat are linked with Donovan Mitchell and they could still end up trading for him. Mitchell has been in Miami for the off-season and with the Utah Jazz in full rebuild mode, they may end up trading him at the end of the day.
