The world was taken aback when comedian Chris Rock was slapped by Will Smith during the Oscars last year. The infamous incident marred the rest of the ceremony and remained a topic of discussion for months. However, it looks like the veteran comedian finally got his revenge. Surprisingly, Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was one of the guests present to witness Rock’s show.
Chris Rock recently released a Netflix Special titled, ‘Selective Outrage.’ Among various things, he decided to speak his mind about the slap from Will Smith. The 58-year-old comedian and actor had an amazing audience with a number of celebrities in attendance.

After the show, Chris Rock hung out with other comedy veterans like David Spade, Arsenio Hall, JB Smoove, Ronny Chieng, Dana Carvey, and Yvonne Orji. Additionally, Los Angeles Lakers Kareem Abdul Jabbar was also present to add the cherry on top of the cake.
The Lakers legend went on his official Twitter account to post pictures of all the celebrities that hung out after the show.

It was a sight to behold as all these comic veterans were in the same room at the same time. Even Dave Chappelle made an appearance at the afterparty to support Chris Rock and his show.

Rock decided not to fight back when he was slapped but took another road to revenge.

Chris Rock took the high road
Chris Rock absolutely went off on Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith on his show, ‘Selective Outrage.’ He not only cleared the air on many things, but made a comical killing out of his own suffering. This comes months after Will Smith released a video apologizing to Rock.
While he didn’t hold back on the couple, fans were reeling it all in. Rock touched upon various topics related to Smith. From the infamous interview on ‘Red Table Talk’ to the actual incident at the Oscars, Rock didn’t leave any stone unturned. Seeing Kareem at the show was certainly a surprise as the 6x NBA champion is rarely seen in public.
