The Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to his Twitter after the disappointing loss and took a dig at his former team. Moreover, the tweet came in amid the brewing tension between James and Grizzlies’ Dillon Brooks.

The Grizzlies restricted the Lakers with a 103-93 victory and impressed the fans with their aggressive defense. Notably, Johnson showered the Lakers team with praise after their dominant performance in game 1. Magic Johnson rubbishes LeBron James & Co

Hours after the frustrating loss against the Grizzlies on Wednesday, Magic Johnson took to his Twitter and took a dig at his former team. He wrote, “The Laker players were soft, soft, and SOFT in Game 2! That cannot be the case in Game 3!” Moreover, the legend expects the LA side not to repeat the same in the next game.

Johnson has been actively expressing his views and analogies via Twitter, including the controversial referee calls in playoffs that have taken the NBA world by surprise.

He wrote, “Hachimura saved his best for just the right time in Memphis!” However, the Lakers legend’s recent tweet took the fans by surprise.

The Memphis Grizzlies’ Brooks caught the attention of the fans when he displayed a stare-down at LeBron James after dropping a three-pointer. Even though James refused to make eye contact during the stare-down, Brooks took the brewing beef outside the court. While addressing the media, he said, “He’s [James] old. … I poke bears. I don’t respect no one till they come and give me 40.”
