Scottie Pippen has had a tumultuous time since the dawn of the new decade. In 2020, the infamous Last Dance documentary came out during a global pandemic, which worsened the relationship between him and his once partner-in-crime Michael Jordan. In 2021, the Hall of Famer’s divorce from his then-wife Larsa Pippen was finalized. To make things worse for the Chicago Bulls legend, late last year, Larsa Pippen triggered dating rumors with MJ’s son, Marcus Jordan, which soon took over the Internet. However, with 2023 on the roll, Pippen seems to have put the ugly past behind him, or has he?

A recent cryptic tweet from him has raised doubts.

Scottie Pippen, who dominated the NBA alongside Michael Jordan in the 90s, has had a storied life post-retirement. However, amid several controversies, his tumultuous relationship with ex-wife Larsa Pippen took center stage in dragging his reputation down the mud. Pippen and Larsa got married in 1997. During their 24-year marriage, Larsa and Scottie welcomed four children together: Scotty Jr., Preston, Justin, and Sophia.

However, after rising tensions and rumors of adultery from both parties, the two split up, and Larsa filed for a divorce. Since then, Larsa, 48, has moved on to newer romantic ventures. However, Pippen, 57, has mostly avoided commenting on the ugly divorce and his ex-wife’s romantic ventures.  But his recent cryptic tweet may indicate otherwise. Pippen took to his Twitter and shared a picture of himself to his 683k followers. He captioned the tweet, “Not every closed door is locked. Push!!”

Though the 6x NBA champion agreed to the divorce a year ago, his recent tweet may hint at Pippen’s evolved approach to a romantic relationship. His admission of the door not being locked may be an indirect message to Larsa to get back together. Needless to say, the cryptic tweet certainly gives rise to many such assumptions.

However, the possibility of the two getting back together is slim. Larsa seems to have moved on from the relationship, as she is currently dating a familiar face. That being said, Pippen’s post could also pretty well be just an ordinary motivational message without any underlying meanings.

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s relationship

Since finalizing her divorce with the former #33 of the Chicago Bulls, Larsa Pippen, who inadvertently forayed on the path to seek a better partner, found the most unlikely suitor. Of all the people in the world, Larsa ended up with Marcus Jordan, the son of Scottie’s former teammate Michael Jordan. Incidentally, the age gap between the two is a whopping 16 years.

The two are only rumored to be dating, nothing has been confirmed from either parties. However, after some intimate pictures and clips of PDA between the two surfaced on the Internet, the speculations were pretty much assumed to be true by fans.
