It hasn’t been a good couple of years for NBA star Ben Simmons. After being crucified by the Philadelphia 76ers, Simmons was supposed to take the next step to bring his NBA career back on track with the Brooklyn Nets. Unfortunately, things did not go his way as he was constantly ridiculed with injuries before finally sitting out for the rest of the season. The Australian international has been hard at work during the offseason and the changes are clearly visible. Fans, however, seem to have had enough of the 3x All-Star.

After some great seasons with the 76ers, Ben Simmons’ last year in the league had its fair share of ups and downs. While there were many who were convinced that Simmons would flourish with a new team, others never believed that he could even get back to his earlier playing days. As Simmons prepares for the upcoming season, the NBA community gave their two cents on his so-called ‘comeback.’

Things were supposed to take off for the Brooklyn Nets after they traded away James Harden for Ben Simmons. The trio of Kevin Durant, Ben Simmons, and Kyrie Irving was believed to achieve wonders. Alas, none of that took place and both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving found new landing spots by the trade deadline, leaving Simmons alone in Brooklyn. Recently, the three-time All-Star uploaded an image of him working out and getting back in shape.

Apart from dealing with constant injuries, Simmons had to face the wrath of the majority of the NBA community, along with NBA legends as well.
