Days after the Timberwolves scuffle, the Memphis Grizzlies star, Ja Morant, broke his silence on the accusations that caused the NBA to ban his brother. After the game against the Indiana Pacers, the situation apparently escalated outside the arena. Claims of a gun with a laser attached to it were mentioned. The weapon being pointed toward the Pacers’ traveling party led to the league issuing a ban on Ja Morant’s brother. However, after a thorough investigation, no proof was found, leading Morant to speak up on social media.

According to ‘The Athletic, “Acquaintances of Ja Morant aggressively confronted members of the Pacers traveling party and later someone in a slow-moving SUV, which Morant was riding in, trained a red laser on them.”

One of the sources stated, “We felt we were in grave danger,” as the incident occurred. But the sources refrained from going to the police out of fear for their lives. Still, they informed the league and carried out a thorough investigation.

The investigation did not find anything substantial. So, the ban on Ja Morant’s brother, that too for a year, may seem harsh. Let us know what you think in the comments section down below.
