Basketball and soccer are arguably two of the biggest sports in the world. Many times stars from either sport have collabed before and are also friends with each other. But sometimes, a player attacks another player or a club and fans do not appreciate that. And that is exactly what happened when a former Lakers star attacked one of the most decorated clubs in the world, FC Barcelona.

Josh Hart, the forward for the Portland Trail Blazers and a former Los Angeles Lakers star, called out FC Barcelona in a tweet. Hart who has admitted he is a massive Chelsea fan?tweeted:?“Barca sucks.”

This may be due to Barcelona hijacking a majority of Chelsea’s targets this transfer window. Chelsea had targetted several players, but the La Liga giant somehow managed to steal them away at the last moment. They even took a player from Chelsea as well. And they stopped one of their own from going to Chelsea. And this may have likely angered Josh Hart.

Josh Hart’s annoyance with Barcelona stems from how Barcelona has managed to poach most of Chelsea’s targets in the transfer window so far. First, it was Andreas Christensen, a Chelsea player who was coming off an excellent season. Chelsea wanted to keep him but Barca contacted him and he refused to resign with them. He ended up going to Barca.

Ousmane Dembele, who was a target for Chelsea. He was a target for them and they even agreed to terms. But in the end, Barca offered Dembele a new contract, and he agreed to stay with them.

Then it was former Bayern Munich legend Robert Lewandowski, one of the best strikers in the world. He was also a target for Chelsea but after Barca made contact, he wanted to only go to them. And sure enough, he ended up joining the Catalan club.

After that, it was Raphinha and Jules Kounde. Both players had reportedly agreed to terms with Chelsea and their clubs had also accepted bids. Their transfers were all but done. However, once again to the dismay of Chelsea supporters, Barcelona interfered in the 11th hour and convinced both players to sign with them.
